Happy Wednesday!! If you haven't noticed, I have been throughly enjoying my embossing powders lately. :) I haven't done the cracked glass technique in forever and it used to be my favorite. I used the darling set, Blossom Sentiments. It's a simple card, but I really wanted to focus on the main image.
For the cracked glass main image. I stamped and colored the flower. I then embossed it several times with an Ultra thick embossing powder. You put it in the freezer for a bit... then bend the image and it cracks. I love it and think it looks fun. Here is a close up of it for you.
Thanks so much for looking, have a great rest of the week!

Happy Wednesday!! I was really in the mood to use more embossing powder! I thought this gorgeous Fourish and Bloom set would be just perfect for embossing! I embossed a flourish in black onto white paper for the main piece. When I was done, I sponged it with a little brown in. The main page is stamped in brown with a smaller flourish.
The bottom right image was stamped in black so it would stand out a little better! I hope you enjoyed! Have a great day! ~ Lindsey

How about sending someone a fall gift just because? Stuff a letter inside the envelope, movie tickets, or attach the envelope to a gift. No matter what you do with it you can't go wrong. And just look at these perfect fall colors.
For envelope #1 I used
Stamp your image onto your tag, trim off the edges, adhere a photo, tag and your button. Can it really get any easier than this??? Make and send one today. And just because it was SOOOOOO easy I made a second one showing a full size photo :)
Same items used, just make a second card. I am making them like crazy today. So pull out those supplies and make one for someone you love.

Hope your week is going great! I love playing with fun different folds sometimes. I used the triangular Tri-fold. It's quick but fun and different from your standard card! I used the gorgeous stamp set Patterned Butterflies. I embossed the main image with silver embossing powder and stamped the square behind it with little butterflies in brown behind it.
Here is a view of the inside when unfolded.
I got this template from Scor-pal, and you can print the tutorial HERE if you would like. Thank you so much for checking this out! :)

For today I wanted to just play with some of my all time favorite photos. They happen to be from last Spring break when I got my son baby ducks to raise for the week, and then we gave them to a farm. He LOVED these baby ducks and they loved him. They followed him anywhere he went, they climbed in his lap, they swam in the swimming pool with him. It was the best time of his life.
Here is the first shot.
And here is the inside.
I used
To make I cut a white cardstock to 8x7
Placed the pocket center and 1/2 from the top of the white cardstock
Trimmed a photo to fit in the pocket on the inside leaving just a bit of a border around the photo, and making sure you corner round the edges
Trimmed a 4x6 photo for the inside and cut the photo so it could go across the crease (just make sure that you do not cut through any people when trimming your photo)
Adhere a tag under the pocket in the right side and corner round the left 2 edges
Stamp your image onto the tag
Stamp a few words going across the bottom. Make sure you only ink up the words and not the lines or dashes that are on the stamp image.
And for the outside of the pocket I stamped the image onto white cardstock and then cut it out and stamped words on the inside.
Add some journaling and you are done.
Happy Saturday

Sorry I have been MIA...let's just say it has been beyond crazy here....but no fear I will be posting Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday with new projects....so actually you will get 4 projects instead of two :) :) Today and tomorrow are layouts, Sunday a card and Monday will be a surprise :)
I love the feel of this layout, it just says fun and full of life.
I used
This is a very simple layout. The first step was that on the scallop straight envelopes I cut the front and back apart. I only wanted the backside, so I used the front to punch things from for another project.
Layer the backs of the envelopes so you have the 3 pretty much going across the layout. Just make sure nothing is even....no measuring, just go for it.
Next place your red envelope in the center
For the photos I used 4 4x6 photos trimmed and corner rounded.
And finally stamp along the top edges of the envelopes and along the bottom right.
Super fun and easy to make.
See you back tomorrow :)
