Let's brush up on our photography skills this weekend, and come together on Monday and create with the photos we have taken.
HAVE SOME FUN!!!! Let's try this weekend and step outside of the box. Just have some fun. My daughter and son were acting like nerds so I joined them and we went into the bathroom and I snapped some shots....so yes this is through the mirror and that is me holding the camera.
*This does not work with a flash* Try turning on as many lights as possible and if you know how to change your ISO you will put it at the highest setting. Most can go about 1600. Mine is set at 3200. But all technical things aside, just go out, let go and be silly!!!
Try and think of something new. Here is my daughter sitting in front of a poster I blew up for her birthday with her and her friends, holding her old frog prince....things that represent her. Capture your children with items that are about them, old or new.
Remember they don't always have to smile. I love this photo of my little Ty. This image just draws you straight to his eyes. I love his smile as well, but this is another side of him. Don't forget to capture all of them.
We are drawing near to the end of summer, so either take a shot with a subject at sunset, or just a sunset alone. Here you will want to place the setting sun directly behind your subject. *If you are a bit more advanced then play with your settings ...exposure 1/4000...f/5.6...ISO 800
And don't forget to capture the fun!!!
My oldest daughter caught a frog and decided to turn him into a prince. Too funny.
You want some real fun? I bought a $10.00 throw away underwater camera and we had a blast playing.
So get creative, think outside the box, and get out there and create some magic. See you Monday for a layout using your weekend shots!!!
